DIY Hat Bar - Open Session ***NO FREE CLASS CARDS***
Description:
We are so excited to bring back our DIY Hat Bar on Black Friday. This will be an open studio time from 1-4pm where you can design your very own wide brimmed fedora style hat. Upon arrival at the studio, you will choose your hat color/style (colors may vary from demo). Then we will have stencils available for you to trace your chosen design (we will have various floral and vine designs for you to choose from...but feel free to bring your own stencil as well). Once traced, you can wood burn your design on your hat or you also have the option of painting the design on there too (or do both). Then we will have a trim piece for you to add to your hat...Cost of the class will include: 1-Wide Brimmed Fedora Style Hat (Colors may differ from demo), and 1 piece of trim. Feel free to bring any items you may want to add to your hat.
I’m originally from Hutchinson so I’m a midwest girl at heart. I graduated from Gustavus with a degree in Psychology and English and moved to Denver, CO in 1999. I’ve spent the last 15 years in the “real world” of sales, marketing, ministry, and my passion of golf at an amazing resort/golf club. In 2010 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and life took a complete 180 degree turn. Before my treatments I went to my first painting class at Canvas and Cocktails in Denver. This studio soon became my refuge place where I could get lost in creativity and fellowship with my family and friends. Three years later, I knew I wanted to bring this concept to MN.
