Open Paint

Open Painting is a flexible time when the studio is open for individuals or small groups.  Arrive anytime between 12-3pm but just note...open paint ends at 3pm so plan accordingly!  No step by step instruction is provided however we always have a friendly staff member available to help. Copy something from our walls or come up with your own design - There are no rules at The Paint Factory!

Open Paint includes all materials and a 16x20 canvas. Additional canvases or upgrades to larger or specialty canvases are available for an additional fee (depending on inventory availability)

Paint Your Pet ***NO FREE CLASS CARDS***

THIS IS A UNIQUE PAINT FACTORY EVENT. PLEASE READ ALL THE DETAILS BELOW: We are painting and celebrating all things PETS! The cost includes your custom canvas, paints and instruction. All ages are welcome, though we HIGHLY recommend ages 12+.
How to order your Pet Portrait:
Step 1) Register and Pay Online
Step 2) Email [email protected] with the photo of your pet within 24-hours of submitting this form. She will create a sketch of your animal that is accurate to the photo you send us. The portrait will not include the background. High quality photos with a higher resolution are ideal and will result in a better sketch. Also photos with a lighter background help us see your pet's details more clearly.  Payment is required before sending us your photo. Cancellations and refunds are not available. We will confirm with you if your photo will work for this class or if a replacement is required. Photos must be of ONE animal. Photos that work best are clear, high quality, close-up "selfie-style," high contrast, with eyes and face clearly visible and unobstructed.
Step 3) When you arrive for class on April 22nd, your canvas will have a sketch of your submitted photo - ready for you to paint!

Very Important Details: Our instructor and staff will teach you techniques to accurately complete the portrait of your pet such as how to make certain colors, different types of fur, facial features, whiskers, etc. We will give you as much individual help as possible, just keep in mind that everyone will be painting something different for this event.

Family Day Paint Pour ***NO FREE CLASS CARDS***

Have you wanted to try Acrylic Paint Pouring but have been a little hesitant (or maybe you didn't want the mess)???  Well great news because we are bringing Acrylic Paint Pouring Back to the Studio in April and this time we are making it a Family Day so All Ages Are Welcome!  Join us in learning the art of Acrylic Paint Pouring.  Choose your color scheme (up to four colors can be used)...and we will have all the materials needed for you to create your own paint pour design on a Stainless Steel Tumbler, an 11" x 14" MN Wood Cutout or a 16" x 20" Canvas.  Spots are VERY limited due to space needed for the pour so register soon!...Also note that these will take up to 48 hours to dry so you will need to come back to the studio to pick up your paintings.  ALSO NOTE...Tumblers will take longer to finish as Tara will be adding epoxy on top of them so you can use them for your favorite beverages.  The epoxy process can take up to 2 weeks so please be patient with her.  ***No Free Class Cards...No Refunds or changing of dates due to materials being ordered***

Sparkle Gem Wall Art ***NO FREE CLASS CARDS***

Join us for a fun morning of creating your own Sparkle Gem Wall Art on our new 20" x 20" Canvases!  This will be a fun mixed media project starting out with painting your background whatever color you like.  Then we will add a little paint pour accent color (which you can choose whichever color you like in the center)...on top of our paint pour center section, we will sprinkle some gemstones, glitter, gold and/or silver leaf.  Then we will add some metallic paint in the background sections.  It's a morning you won't want to miss creating your own stunning piece for your wall at home.  Price includes: 1-20" x 20" canvas, your choice of premixed paint pour center accent color, gemstones, glitter, gold/silver leaf, metallic paint.  No free class cards.  No refunds/changing of dates due to materials being ordered.

We are soooooo excited to have our first Wine Bottle Painting class at Jomas Hill Winery! Cost of the evening is $45/each and includes two wine bottles and materials to paint "Starry Night" and "Brushed Metal" on Wine Bottles as well your first beverage up to $6 is on us at the bar.  This will be an awesome night of painting in the beautiful tasting room at Jomas Hill Winery located at 67755 205th St Darwin, MN.
