Join us Friday April 10th at 6:30pm for the return of our Wood Burned Hat Classes…We are so excited to bring hat classes back to the studio and this time we are adding in the option of trucker mesh hats or fedora hats. We will walk you step by step through designing your very own wood burned design hat. Upon arrival at the studio, you will choose your hat style based on your registration (different color options may be available)…Then we will have stencils available for you to trace your chosen design (we will have various floral, animal and word designs for you to choose from…but feel free to bring your own stencil as well…usually 3-4″ stencils work best). Once traced, we will demo how to wood burn your design on your hat or you also have the option of painting the design on there too (or do both). Cost of the class will include: 1 Hat (choose from either a suede mesh trucker hat or a narrow brimmed fedora…additional Colors may be available and may differ from demo), materials to stencil and burn your design on your hat, and paint if you would like add a little color. Additional items will be available for purchase to add to your hat or feel free to bring any items you may want to add to your hat. ***NO FREE CLASS CARDS or promotional gift cards or discount cards accepted for this class***

DIY Wood Burned Hat Class
04/10/2026
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

I’m originally from Hutchinson so I’m a midwest girl at heart. I graduated from Gustavus with a degree in Psychology and English and moved to Denver, CO in 1999. I’ve spent the last 15 years in the “real world” of sales, marketing, ministry, and my passion of golf at an amazing resort/golf club. In 2010 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and life took a complete 180 degree turn. Before my treatments I went to my first painting class at Canvas and Cocktails in Denver. This studio soon became my refuge place where I could get lost in creativity and fellowship with my family and friends. Three years later, I knew I wanted to bring this concept to MN.
