We are so excited to bring our first ever hat burning class ON THE ROAD…and even more excited that this event will take place at Jomas Hill. Join us Thursday May 14th at 6pm at Jomas Hill Winery which is located at 67755 205th St Darwin, MN! Choose from 3 different hat styles and create your own custom hat. Cost of the evening includes your chosen hat style (Mesh Trucker, Fedora, or Cowboy) supplies to wood burn your design, and the choice of adding your own bling at the end with accessories for your hat! Feel free to arrive early at 5pm to order food and beverage…at 6pm Tara will demonstrate how to wood burn your own hat and then you have until 8pm to complete your project. Various Stencils will be available for you to trace (including floral, word, cow, and other designs for you to choose from…but feel free to bring your own stencil as well…3″ -4″ stencils will work best). Upon completion, upgrade your hat design by adding accessories for an additional charge. Or feel free to bring your own items you would like to add to your hat!

I’m originally from Hutchinson so I’m a midwest girl at heart. I graduated from Gustavus with a degree in Psychology and English and moved to Denver, CO in 1999. I’ve spent the last 15 years in the “real world” of sales, marketing, ministry, and my passion of golf at an amazing resort/golf club. In 2010 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and life took a complete 180 degree turn. Before my treatments I went to my first painting class at Canvas and Cocktails in Denver. This studio soon became my refuge place where I could get lost in creativity and fellowship with my family and friends. Three years later, I knew I wanted to bring this concept to MN.
