Kids Camp Day 5 – Solar Light Pots
Join Tara for a fun, creative, and hands-on day of painting and creating your own Solar Light Pot.
Tara will guide campers through a fun, creative, and interactive day of Painting on Terracotta Pots and then turning them into solar lights! Each camper can choose from any of the designs you see in the demo photo or be creative and come up with your own. Once painted, then we will add solar lights at the end so your child has something they will truly love.
Spots are limited for each session. A snack will be provided during camp (please let us know of any food allergies when registering). Campers should bring their own bottled water. Our snack bar will also be open for additional snacks and beverages available for purchase.
Aprons will be provided; however, art can get messy, so please dress your child in clothing appropriate for painting.
Please let us know if you prefer that your child not be photographed. Photos taken during camp may be used to showcase this event and for future marketing materials.
A minimum of 10 campers is required for this session. If the minimum enrollment is not met, you will be contacted at least 24 hours prior to camp.
Cost: $40 per camper
Registration fees are non-refundable unless the session is canceled.

I’m originally from Hutchinson so I’m a midwest girl at heart. I graduated from Gustavus with a degree in Psychology and English and moved to Denver, CO in 1999. I’ve spent the last 15 years in the “real world” of sales, marketing, ministry, and my passion of golf at an amazing resort/golf club. In 2010 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and life took a complete 180 degree turn. Before my treatments I went to my first painting class at Canvas and Cocktails in Denver. This studio soon became my refuge place where I could get lost in creativity and fellowship with my family and friends. Three years later, I knew I wanted to bring this concept to MN.
