You’re invited to a special Valentine outreach event!
We are excited to be teaming up with The Valentine Widow Project for the 4th year in a row but this time we wanted to get our community involved…So we’re hosting a Valentine Widow Outreach on Mon Jan 26th at 6:30pm where we’ll be painting magnets together to donate to the Valentine Widow Project. Once painted, these handmade magnets will be donated to widows/widowers as a small reminder that they are seen, loved, and remembered this Valentine’s season. The $5 registration fee covers your first magnet (but we will have additional magnets available the night of the event at $5/each…paint as many as you like…we have a goal of painting 300 magnets this evening which will all be donated so we hope you can join us!).
No painting experience is needed—just come ready to create, connect, and give back. All supplies will be provided.
Kayleen Jensen, the organizer of The Valentine Widow Project, will also be on site to with more information on how to get involved. It will be an evening you will not want to miss.

I’m originally from Hutchinson so I’m a midwest girl at heart. I graduated from Gustavus with a degree in Psychology and English and moved to Denver, CO in 1999. I’ve spent the last 15 years in the “real world” of sales, marketing, ministry, and my passion of golf at an amazing resort/golf club. In 2010 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and life took a complete 180 degree turn. Before my treatments I went to my first painting class at Canvas and Cocktails in Denver. This studio soon became my refuge place where I could get lost in creativity and fellowship with my family and friends. Three years later, I knew I wanted to bring this concept to MN.
