Open Paint Burlap Totes – Choose between our Horizontal Rectangle Tote w/Canvas Pocket (which measures approx 12″ x 8″ x 5.5″) or our Vertical Tote (which measures 10″ x 12″ x 4″)…We have limited amounts of tote bags so we cannot guarantee your first choice.
Open Painting is a flexible time when the studio is open for individuals or small groups. Arrive anytime between 10-2pm but just note…open paint ends at 2pm so plan accordingly! No step by step instruction is provided however we always have a friendly staff member available to help. Copy something from our walls or come up with your own design – There are no rules at The Paint Factory!
Open Paint Tote Bag Painting includes your chosen tote bag (depending on availability), paint, and brushes to use at the studio . Additional canvases or upgrades to larger or specialty canvases are available for an additional fee (depending on inventory availability)

I’m originally from Hutchinson so I’m a midwest girl at heart. I graduated from Gustavus with a degree in Psychology and English and moved to Denver, CO in 1999. I’ve spent the last 15 years in the “real world” of sales, marketing, ministry, and my passion of golf at an amazing resort/golf club. In 2010 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and life took a complete 180 degree turn. Before my treatments I went to my first painting class at Canvas and Cocktails in Denver. This studio soon became my refuge place where I could get lost in creativity and fellowship with my family and friends. Three years later, I knew I wanted to bring this concept to MN.
